Leadership in Vedanta Philosophy

Vedanta, the philosophical complement to the ancient Upanishads, offers valuable insights into spiritual leadership and effective governance. Vedanta, also known as Uttara Mīmāṃsā, is a Hindu philosophical tradition that is one of the six orthodox (āstika) schools of Hindu philosophy.


Selflessness

Similar to the Bhagavad Gita, Vedanta emphasizes the importance of duty - performing one's responsibilities in society from a place of selfless service and dedication to the greater good. This aligns the individual purpose of the leader with the collective interests of society.


Overall, Vedantic leadership incorporates wisdom, non-attachment, selfless service and mindful duty as essential components of true governance that uplifts humanity.
